Eve Johnston’s memoir takes the reader on a journey beginning on a dairy farm in the northern rivers of New South Wales Australia. Due to a life fraught with trauma and pain and how she came through it, she was encouraged to share her story for the benefit of others who may also be suffering in similar circumstances. For the sake of her children, who had shared part of her journey, and her compassion for people, she wrote, ‘A love letter to my children’. The book chronicles a life of abuse, forced adoption, failed relationships and addiction to finally finding the love and acceptance she’d been seeking.
It took Eve five years to write her memoir which she indie published with Carol Martinez from Free Lance Editing/Publishing, Phoenix Arizona. It released in December 2020. Eve intends to write a ‘P.S’ to ‘A love letter to my children’.
