Jodie van de Wetering


Jodie van de Wetering is a writer, performer, and instigator of creative shenanigans based in Rockhampton. Jodie’s various arts-related hats include editor of Rocky Street Press, an independent arts magazine celebrating writing, arts and culture across Central Queensland and rural and regional Australia more broadly.


A former ABC broadcaster, Jodie’s had short stories published in anthologies including Grave Warnings (Pencil Tip Publishing 2016) and Sproutlings (Invisible Elephant Press 2016), and poetry included in the Bimblebox: 153 Birds touring exhibition. They also perform stand up comedy (which involves a great deal of writing), improv theatre (which involves absolutely none at all), and interactive events that explore different ways of telling stories.
