Nene Davies is the founding director of the Capricorn Coast Writers Festival and runs a stationery/bookshop in Yeppoon. She started writing in 2009 when her short story The Edge was commended by FAWNS. In 2012, Miss Understood was published in Narrator Australia, Day One appeared in Foreign Encounters by Writers Abroad, Santa’s Helper Helps Herself featured on ABC Open and Nene’s writing group published Ten Minute Tales.
Her first novel Distance was published in 2013 followed by Further then Surfacing, to complete the trilogy . Redhanded came out in 2016, Whitethorne in 2018 and The Narrows in 2020.
