Tom de Pauw is a clinical psychologist, lecturer and PhD candidate at Central Queensland University. He is a board-approved supervisor, helping psychologists in many rural and regional settings.
Originally born in Belgium, Tom familiarised himself with Australia on a backpacking journey in 2002, where he also met his future wife, right here in Yeppoon. Spending nine years afterwards in Europe to live and travel together, the plan was hatched to return to Australia, as children can grow up with sunlight! The arrival of their daughter initiated the relocation in 2013, ending up in Central Queensland.
The love for books has been a constant in his life, from sparking the interest to study psychology, to helping patients and students with book suggestions.
