Have you ever wanted to write a song but just aren’t sure where to start?
What comes first, the emotion, the words or the music? How do you get a song out of your head and onto the page? And how do you get past the first verse, with no idea where to go from there?
Join performer and songwriter, Kate Mahood, at her workshop covering essential techniques for your songwriting toolkit. From emotion to song structure, to chorus and verse writing, as well as building rhymes, melody and overcoming writer’s block. Come along and learn what it takes for you to go from that first flash of inspiration, to a finished song.
